Maggie Sheerin, class of 2027 at the University of Virginia Law School, earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Vermont, where she majored in political science and minored in public communication. Before law school, she worked on political campaigns in both Vermont and Virginia and for a boutique digital communications firm in Washington, D.C. Sheerin joined UVA Law’s Karsh Center for Law and Democracy to work on the 50 Constitutions project, a collaboration with UVA’s Karsh Institute of Democracy and the University of Wisconsin-Madison Law School. Additionally, she is an executive editor for the Journal of Law and Politics and a member of the State and Local Government Policy Clinic.
